Important Websites for General Info
-The Trans Media Network sites https://www.phallo.net/ and https://www.metoidioplasty.net/ . The information is comprehensive, accurate and well-maintained. The featured surgeons are paying advertisers.
-Transbucket is the most comprehensive resource for post surgery photos. You must make an account and be approved to view photos.

Social media Communities:
-As of 2023, the phalloplasty/metoidioplasty discord server is likely more active than any other social media (though perhaps skews younger). I am not a member and cannot attest to the culture or veracity of information shared. Access must be by direct invite, you can inquire in one of the social media spaces below to get access, or email me and I can ask a member to generate an invite link.
-The most active Facebook group is “FTM Bottom Surgery Discussion”. From there it is possible to connect to less publicly searchable, more procedure- or surgeon-specific facebook groups.
-Meiko Elias maintains a list of additional facebook groups (and blogs, vlogs, websites, and other amazing phalloplasty resources). Meiko has offered to connect people to these more private facebook groups via his public profile.

-Subreddits like r/phallo

Connecting to others live, online (zoom meetings):
-Tool Shed NYC is a group for those planning/recovering from phalloplasty and metoidioplasty which meets occassionally in person in New York City, and more often by zoom. Email nyctoolshed at gmail to get connected
-ALT Dick Story Share a monthly zoom for those planning for / recovering from Anterolateral Thigh (ALT) phalloplasty. email alt.phallo at gmail to get connected.

Connecting to others in person:
-There have historically been annual live “show and tell events” for phalloplasty/metoidioplasty, in addition to other education and peer support sessions, at the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (next conference planned for summer 2024).
-Gender Odyssey has also historically had a session like this.
